To the Editor:
This past Thursday Compassion Café completed our fourth summer season. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to employ people with varying abilities. This season, we employed 88 staff members in our little operation, and were assisted by a volunteer team nearing 100. And in an immeasurable act of kindness, the Sea Shell Resort in Beach Haven rolls out the red carpet and allows us to operate our 18-week café … rent free!
