There is little doubt which two high schools have dominated boys high school volleyball in New Jersey the past four years. In 2009 and 2010, the Rams of Southern Regional emerged as state champions. In 2011 and 2012, the Cutters of Fair Lawn did likewise, defeating Southern both years in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association title match.
