To the Editor:
I am concerned about increases in living expenses. Little Egg Harbor Township has proposed a 3.5% increase in the municipal budget while my income continues to decrease due to caps on the money I get from my pension. This is destroying my senior golden years.
I looked at the increase as benefiting the real estate industry and home construction. Do we need more housing, more kids and more crime, or do we need to eliminate our community health and safety problems and improve our quality of life?
