Matt Abbato always looked forward to the day he’d be a head coach. On Aug. 29, he received his first water-cooler bath after his Southern Regional football team scored his first victory.
“It felt great,” said the smiling head coach moments after he and his team celebrated their 34-14 win over Bridgeton in the annual Battle at the Beach at Ocean City High School.
