To the Editor:
The guest column by Alberto Engra in last week’s edition (“First Visit to Beach Haven – a Town That So Inspired Me”) was a delightful read full of enthusiasm and affection for our Island. Such passion from a visitor hailing from a place as far away as Spain is a reminder that what we have from one end to another of our 18 miles of sand at the ocean’s edge remains truly special.
Engra’s interest in history was also refreshing, including his mention of the unique connection between Barnegat Light and his home country. Gen.
