After acquiring the Manahawkin Commons shopping plaza late last year, Saker ShopRites Inc. is planning to move its supermarket from one part of Route 72 in Stafford Township to another.
Several weeks ago, Saker submitted its preliminary plan with the Stafford Township Planning Board to move the ShopRite store in the Stafford Square plaza to the site of the former Kmart building, located farther west along the state highway, and rebrand it as a “World Class” ShopRite.
