During a typical high school sports year, the first week of spring is a week in which nothing happens, because it’s between the winter and spring seasons. So wrestling outdoors was unheard of until March 25.
“It was fun. It was really nice out here,” said Pinelands Regional sophomore Mason Livio, who won a 15-1 major decision over Christian Baccigalupi, whose Barnegat squad hosted the first outdoor wrestling match in Shore Conference history.
