John Tierney stood amid his kneeling players and slithered his hips from side to side, trying to add a little groove to it with his hands. Trying to get the head coach to show off his rhythm is a lot of fun when the team just won its fifth straight game.
“I went with my ‘Sexy Dexy,’ or whatever it is they call it; I don’t know,” said Tierney, who became the winningest coach in Pinelands Regional history after his Wildcats turned in a 21-14, come-from-behind win over nearby rival Barnegat on Oct.
