The Pinelands Regional High School football team’s offense had its best game of the season last Friday night against Holmdel. But it also had, in a way, its worst game, surrendering eight points, which turned out to be Holmdel’s margin of victory in a 30-22 final.

The 22 points were the most the Wildcats have scored all year. They came from an offense that, as usual, was dominated by the rushing game, with seven players carrying the ball 32 times for 256 yards and three TDs.
