After one South American sailor dominated during the first five races of the Sunfish World Championship regatta at Brant Beach Yacht Club last week, another dominated during the final six races to come away with the world title.
Alonso Collantes won the seventh through 10th races before fourth- and fifth-place finishes in the 11th and 12th races, respectively, but cruised to the championship with 23 points.
