To the Editor:
During the weekend of Aug 7-8 on the north end of the Island, two pedestrians were apparently hit by cars in scenarios similar to the one I describe, below, in a July 2020 letter to this publication. At least one of the people hit, a teenage boy, was critically injured.
It’s every parent’s and every driver’s worst nightmare.
