Heavy traffic at the gateway to Long Beach Island on Oct. 18 wasn’t of the normal variety, but rather pedestrians lining Ninth Street in Ship Bottom during the Island’s second No Kings rally in four months.

The event, which drew 854 individuals opposed to Donald Trump’s policies since the start of his second presidency, was organized by Democratic Action Network LBI. Demonstrators occupied the sides of the road all the way to Barnegat Avenue. Participation more than doubled over the June rally.
