On Monday afternoon, parking spaces were filling up at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in Barnegat Light. It was one of the Island hot spots to watch the partial solar eclipse, in which 90% of the sun was blocked by the moon at the peak time of 3:24 p.m.

All around the park, people were sitting on benches or standing watching the astronomic event through their ISO-certified glasses. Others had set up camera equipment.
