Artist Susan Weinstein believes talent is activated desire.
“Mine is about needing to feel and hold the life I experience,” she said.
Weinstein will participate for the first time in this year’s LBI Artist Studio Tour, Aug. 8 and 9. Her home base on the Island is Brant Beach, but for the purposes of the tour weekend she will set up at the studio of Michael Golden in Loveladies.
A well-rounded artist, Weinstein paints in acrylic, oil and watercolor. She draws with colored pencils and pastels. Occasionally she assembles a mixed media collage.
