To the Editor:
I have a couple comments and a question regarding the oyster restoration project in Little Egg Harbor (“Baby Oysters Deployed Off Little Egg Harbor,” 8/21).
The main downside of this project is that the oysters were not placed on leased ground, meaning anyone from the public can access them and take them home. This should have been one of the first and most important considerations.
