Capt. Morten Mortensen has what it takes to bring quality fresh seafood to all of us who truly enjoy eating the best. His story is one that will enlighten many and give all a greater appreciation for the seafood they take for granted.

It all began in the 1950s in Steinbru, Norway, when Morten “learned the ropes” from his grandfather Helge and Uncle Stenert. He absorbed every detail, from making the fishing nets to setting them in just the right spots, harvesting the fish and cleaning, preserving and cooking them. He had a regular bike route around the neighborhood each day after school, selling his fresh catch of that morning.
