Incumbent Southern Regional Board of Education members are correct in boasting that the school is debt free. What they failed to acknowledge is the substantial Island tax levy received.
Beach Haven Borough provides $4,528,177 with currently less than 30 students attending Southern Regional. LBT provided $22,445,639, Harvey Cedars provides $2,549, 443, Ship Bottom provides $3,301, 777, Barnegat Light gives $1,630,205 and Surf City provides $5,474,381, bringing the total tax levy from the Island…
