To the Editor:
I read your article about wind turbine visibility and the model being used to show that the visible impact will be rare (“Initial Study Shows Turbine Visibility Will Be Rare Off LBI,” 6/29). During my career as an engineer I utilized various models to predict impacts of different projects, so I know they can be a valuable tool.
However, it is also important to consider practical impacts.
