At 89 years old, Tom Williams proved he is still a youngster at heart when he climbed the 217 steps of Barnegat Lighthouse on July 20 with his family by his side.

“I’ve always done it,” Williams said. “I have been coming since I was young, so a long time. We have lots of memories there. I don’t think I’m special; I’m sure there are so many others in their 80s, 90s who have climbed it. It was just a nice day for climbing the lighthouse.”
