More than a month after concerns arose about recent whale deaths off the coast of New Jersey and amid calls for the total stoppage of all offshore wind activity in the Atlantic until a conclusive determination can be made on the cause of death, Congressman Jeff Van Drew announced plans for his first hearing on the projects next month.

The date has been set for March 16 with the time and location expected to be announced in the coming weeks, according to the Feb. 17 announcement from his office.
