Traffic on Manahawkin Bay looked a little different on Friday, April 17 than most days, as a large house perched atop an even larger barge floated right under the Causeway and down the bay, making its spectacle of a journey from Surf City to Eagleswood.
The home was set to be demolished before the new owner, Herschel Abbott, who owns an empty lot in Eagleswood, purchased it for just $1, making his dream of living bayside on Cedar Run Dock Road a reality.
