To the Editor:
I just became aware of the proposed demolition of the forever-standing commercial strip spanning Sixth and Seventh streets on the Boulevard in Surf City and have had numerous emotions go through my mind, as I grew up on Fifth Street above my parents’ store, LB Islander and the adjacent Farias’.
As a full-time LBI resident and business owner in Surf City, Ship Bottom and Beach Haven, I feel I have a great insight into what Island businesses mean here.
