For now, the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association has come up with a remedy for the recently diverted ice hockey season.
Following Gov. Phil Murphy’s announcement on Nov. 30 that all indoor athletics were to be placed on a hiatus from Dec. 5 through Jan. 2 – with no practices or competitions for any organized athletic program permitted anywhere within state borders – the previously outlined plan for high school ice hockey was set on a new course.
