Beginning Friday, some New Jersey e-bike riders will have just 14 business days to schedule four in-person appointments and secure insurance in order to continue immediately riding their electronic bicycles once the state’s new law goes into effect next month.

The law, which was passed during former Gov. Phil Murphy’s final term last year, prohibits e-bike riders under the age of 15.
