In 2008, Mike Puorro took over a Wall Township varsity boys basketball team that was falling apart. Therehad beenthree head coaches in four years, and it needed a major rebuilding job. Two years later, Wall became a playoff contender and now looks as strong as ever.

But Puorro won’t be coaching the teamas he has a new challenge in trying to build up the Barnegat High School boys varsity basketball team.
