To the Editor:
American is at war – not just a political war but a spiritual war as well. The insurrection at the Capitol confirms that. No true Christian, no true American can justify or defend what took place. Some people still try to do that. That is not democracy.
For those who might remember, think back to the time when Nazi loyalists destroyed the Reichstag, giving rise to racism, plunging Germany and the world into moral decay and darkness.
