To the Editor:
As the president of the Barnegat Light Taxpayers Association, I was disappointed and surprised by the remarks in Michelle Powell’s letter (“Get Educated,” 8/23).
I understand her dismay about the offshore wind energy topic, as there has been a lot of conflicting information presented by the different factions on both sides of this issue. Nevertheless, informational meetings have been taking place up and down the Island for the last three years.
