The 26th annual Motorcycle Toy Run on Oct. 5 brought together almost 400 bikes, many with two riders, for a 74-mile ride through the Pines to collect toys for kids in need at Christmastime. The ride was escorted by 14 police motorcycles and 12 patrol cars, plus the guests of honor, Santa and Mrs. Claus, joined this year by the Grinch.
“We went all the way to Manchester and back,” the event’s founder and organizer, retired Ocean Township Police Sgt.
