Meals on Wheels of Ocean County is one of just 100 countrywide winners in a poll that awarded each cause a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant. David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation is the other organization based in Ocean County that people online voted top among 4,000 entries from across America. In fact, this is the second time the cancer foundation has received a State Farm grant.
Meals on Wheels provides 260,000 nutritious meals to frail and homebound seniors in the county every year.
