With 79 competitors in the field for the annual Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K, no doubt the outfits and getups were heinous. But Aaron Wyrsch’s time wasn’t.
The 14-year-old from Manahawkin clocked a crisp 19:13.1 to win the overall and men’s top spots, while Toms River’s Joan Totaro secured the second spot overall as well as the women’s title.
