To the Editor:
It’s that time of year again. Labor Day weekend is over and everyone is back to work and school. Let’s face it, no one from yonder likes to admit the summer is over and they are not coming back down the shore to swim, boat or fish. So, we struggle to find a way to get our adult kids here to help pull out and winterize our WaveRunner and boats.
Good thing the Local Summer was in full swing and the bars and restaurants are still luring us with special wine/beer events and tasty fall menus.
