They say the way to a human heart is through the stomach, and prolific painter Dawn McDonnell of Manahawkin has published a book to prove it, with a dozen pairings of artwork and poetic prose, titled I Love You Like Food. Twelve mouthwatering acrylic paintings are accompanied by flowing descriptions that convey special meaning, dedicated to her kids, Matthew and Julia.
