To the Editor:
I am a lucky lady! At my advanced age I now have a “pen pal.” Her name is Charlotte Rose. She is my 6-year-old great-grandchild who just started first grade and is excited about learning to write. Thus far her misspelled words seem to dance across the paper in no particular order. With practice and her dad’s (my grandson) help I expect to see improvement with each letter she sends.
Charlotte lives in faraway New Hampshire. Because of COVID-19 we haven’t been able to see one another for a year.
