Following the recent nor’easter, Long Beach Township officials let residents know they could place storm-related trash in black garbage bags in cans or by the curb, and scheduled extra trash pickups to help clear the superfluous debris. Bulk items, however, will not be collected by the contracted waste management company.
The LBT Department of Public Works will take appliances and grills. Residents are advised to call the DPW at 609-361-6676 or 609-361-6683 to schedule a pickup.
