Despite eight corners during the first half, the Southern Regional field hockey team wasn’t able to capitalize on the opportunities and instead fell behind by a pair of goals prior to the intermission of its NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV quarterfinals game against No. 4 Clearview (18-3) on Oct. 31. The Rams ultimately lost, 4-1, and their season ended at 12-5-1.
The Pioneers took a 2-0 lead into the half on goals from Rachel Lanzalotti and Rachel Johnson.
