The long saga of a controversial proposed 415-home age-restricted Lennar Corp. housing development bordering Center Street in Little Egg Harbor appears to be over.
At an Aug. 26 special meeting, the Little Egg Harbor Township Planning Board unanimously approved the project after a 5½-hour meeting where dozens of township residents – and some people from nearby communities – lined up to oppose it.
