It was a cold day in February. A blizzard was possible the next day with snow, freezing rain and ice. Just the thought of it depressed me. I tried to think of something else to cheer me up – ice cream.

I am somewhat of an ice cream aficionado. I enjoy many different flavors and combinations. A hot butterscotch sundae with scoops of butter pecan, cherry vanilla and peanut butter ice cream – topped, of course, by whipped cream and a cherry – is ideal.
