To the Editor:

Perhaps I am naive, but I was shocked at the behavior of elected New Jersey senators and assemblymen as I sat in Trenton watching the vote to give our tax dollars to offshore wind farms. Some laughed and talked while others openly scrolled through their phones during the testimonies of those against the wind farm construction.

I was there after attending a Bureau of Ocean Energy Management presentation where each answer was “We can do a study post construction.”
