Long Beach Township recently adopted four ordinances on second reading, including a measure that pertains to zoning for hotels and motels, which brought a full room’s worth of residents out to this past Monday’s board of commissioners meeting. There was some confusion as to whether the measure, Ordinance 25-16C, would increase impervious coverage for commercial properties, but as officials explained, the maximum coverage for commercial lots has been, and will remain, 75%.
