Racers for the Long Beach Island Yacht Racing Association battled some light yet shifty conditions on July 16 during their regatta at the Brant Beach Yacht Club.
“Shifty means winds are coming in all different directions at all different times. There’s no consistent wind blowing out of the east or north,” Marianne Dewling, LBIYRA vice commodore, said.
