When the Long Beach Island Historical Association Museum opened 50 years ago in Beach Haven, pop culture was dominated by bell-bottoms, platform shoes and disco music. Those days will be recalled when the museum holds a “Back to the Beat” ’70s dance, taking place on Sunday, July 5 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Martin Hall inside Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Beach Haven.
Admission is $45 and includes soft drinks and light finger food. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
