At this time last year, the Long Beach Island Historical Association was getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. Its original goal and mission were to open a museum to house and preserve artifacts of LBI’s past and present.
That was accomplished in June 1976, and the association is planning to celebrate that second milestone next year.
