Surf City Yacht Club sailor Bridget Green knows a thing or two about sailing Optimist boats. After all, she recently competed as part of Team USA in the South American Opti Championship held in Paraguay, where the American squad captured gold.
Locally, Green has been blazing paths on Barnegat Bay for years, and she did so again this past weekend during the Junior Olympic Festival at Brant Beach Yacht Club, cruising to the Optimist-class title with seven points.
