At the end of 2021, local tax preparer Jeremy DeFilippis of JSD Tax Services, who is also a co-founder of Jetty LLC, sold his tax business to Muniak & Associates CPA, 400 North Main St., Manahawkin. Under the retention-based arrangement, DeFilippis will shut down his tax business and discontinue any tax preparation work, to concentrate on the growth of Jetty.
