Five years ago, when one was a senior and the other a junior, they played together as part of a group of lacrosse-loving Rams that had continued to build Southern’s girls program.

Now, Lauren Ivancich’s and Alexa Comfort’s college careers have come to an end and they’re moving on to other things besides lacrosse.

“It’s a bittersweet feeling,” said Ivancich, who is nearing the conclusion of her career after spending the past two seasons at Stockton University.
