Recently, I attended a meet-and-greet for Bayly Winder, a smart, energetic and promising candidate who hopes to represent the 2nd District in Congress next January. After stating his positions and answering questions on everything from the Big Beautiful Bill to wind turbines, Winder was asked about the elephant in the room: charges of being a carpetbagger.
