It is never a good sign for a basketball team to have the far end of its bench anchored by players in injury boots. But that was exactly what fans filing into Friday night’s game between the girls basketball teams of host Pinelands Regional High School and visiting Donovan Catholic saw on the home bench.
Two Wildcats were wearing the protective boots, one on the right foot, the other one the left. Meanwhile, another Pinelands player was acting as scorekeeper thanks to an injury.
