During the two regular season meets between St. Francis Community Center and Haven Beach Club, the Sharks won, by a lot. However, Hurricanes coach Dan Dreher noticed something significant.
“One of the things I noticed in our meets was that we were getting out-touched in a lot of races,” he said, after his squad captured the Long Beach Island Swim Club Championship title on Aug. 14 for a fourth straight year.
