Well, that didn’t take long.
Hurricane season officially started last Wednesday. We had our first storm named on Sunday, and by Tuesday, our first tropical waves of the year were arriving at our shores.
Hurricane season is a coveted time of year for East Coast surfers for a couple of reasons. And it’s a bit of a hype vs. reality situation, but there will always be a certain magic when it comes to tropically produced waves for New Jersey.
