To the Editor:
Letters to The SandPaper have shared that the Atlantic Shores North project will not slow sea level rise. I was curious about this claim so I looked into some details.
To put the climate impact into context, this project results in greenhouse gas reductions equivalent to taking 1.4 million cars off the road (there are 2.5 million cars registered in New Jersey) or 1.2 million homes getting all their electricity from solar (there are 3.3 million homes in New Jersey).
